Jim is the son of our President, Jimmy Robinson and the grandson of the late Gus Robinson. Jim grew up in the insurance business and worked during his summers at Robinson & Stith Insurance while attending N.C. State University. Jim also earned the CLCS designation after attending the Hartford School of Insurance. In 2018, Jim was named a ‘Young Gun’ by Insurance Business America Magazine. This publication recognized 54 insurance professionals across the nation, age 35 and younger.

Jim is a 2010 graduate of New Bern High School and he received his B.S. from N.C. State University in May of 2014. He graduated from the Poole College of Management with a concentration in marketing.

Jim works in all facets of the insurance business at Robinson & Stith Insurance, and assists in all phases of agency operations.
